<p>Operating Barramundi fishing tours in Kakadu National Park is limited to a small amount of permitted Fishing Tour Operators. These permits are granted by parks Australia ensuring that both the operators confirm to all requirments of the park and that presure on the river is limited ensuring great fishing for years to come.</p>
<p>The vast flood planes of Kakadu feed into two great rivers, the East &amp; South Alligator Rivers. Both Rivers are easily accesable from your acomodation and produce sensational Barramundi fishing during the Run Off months.</p>
<p>As well as top class Barramundi fishing the reefs just out from the mouth of the South Alligator River are home to Black Jew Fish and Golden Snapper.</p>

<p>Accommodation is the very comfortable Aurora Kakadu Resort. Air-conditioned rooms, bar, bistro, restaurant and shady swimming pool are all there to great you after a hard day fighting Top End Barra.</p>

<p>When Bluewater fishing you will target Trevally, Queenfish, Mackerel and Tuna, in and around Bynoe Harbour and around Dundee. Bottom Fishing can yield Jewfish, Snapper and Cod. Crab pots are also available (on request), if a feed of mud crabs tempts the palate.</p>
<p>Easily accessible from Dundee is the Finniss River. The Finniss fishes well for Barramundi from the late wet season well into and through the dryer months. Fishing methods include casting feeder creeks with lures or flies, casting snags or trolling, all of which get results.</p>
<h2>Accommodation</h2>
<p>Accommodation is at Dundee Lodge, a fantastic location on the waters&#8217; edge. Nothing better than after a great day&#8217;s fishing, enjoying a coldie, and watching a tropical sunset, with comfortable a/c dorm style rooms. Keen anglers will probably see a sunrise as well. No travelling time means more fishing time.</p>

Charter Boats are fully surveyed and have large fishing area&#8217;s fully shaded for your comfort.</p>
<p>On this Darwin Fishing Charter you will fish the reefs off Darwin and experience a real mixed bag of fishing, you could catch a variety of fish including, Golden Snapper, Black Jew Fish, Spanish Mackerel and many more.</p>
<p>Your Darwin fishing charter starts at the Mandorah ferry pontoon at 6.00am and finishes at the same location at approximately 3.30pm.</p>

<p>Departing Cullen Bay, Darwin you will fish some the many off shore reefs out from Darwin.</p>

<p>Only a short drive from the Darwin CBD is the Cullen Bay Marina. You will need to make your own way to the Mandorah ferry pontoon (outside the lock) to meet the Charter boat. The charter boat will depart at 6.00am sharp so you are asked to be at the pontoon by 5.50am.</p>

<p>Day 2:- Head offshore from Darwin fishing the many reef systems that litter the Darwin Coast line.</p>

<p>Areas fished can include Marie Shoals, Moss Shoals, Evans Shoals, Flat Top Banks, Tiwi Islands &amp; the Perron Islands, Cape Ford and surrounding reefs.  Area&#8217;s fished will depend on weather, and tides.  Price is all inclusive live aboard.</p>
<p>Aboard Wai Nawana or Wai Adi.  Wai Nawana was launched May 2010….she is a 52&#8242; Custom Built Legend vessel, sleeping 12 in air-conditioned bunks. She has a large air-conditioned lounge and cabin, 2 toilets and hot/cold shower, extra large shaded fishing deck area, huge freezer, desalinater, satellite phone, Flat screen TV, and all the latest marine technology.  She has a max speed of 28 knts and will cruise on 24.</p>
<p>You will be fishing remote areas of the NT chasing Giant black Jew fish, golden snapper, cod, mackerel, red emperor, coral trout, tusk fish, tuna, cobia, sailfish and other rare fish species including Marlin, long nose emperor, gold band snapper, mangrove jacks and plenty more .  Fish species will vary depending on  areas fished, tides and weather.</p>
<p>All your fish may be kept within NT bag limits and will be gilled, gutted and frozen ready for you to take home.  Airline approved fish carry boxes are available at $15 each .</p>
<p>Price includes all game rods and reels spooled with braided line, all fishing tackle, lures and bait.  All meals, snacks &amp; refreshments.  Air conditioned bunk accommodation including linen.  And most importantly friendly and experienced crew .</p>
<p>You need to bring a small bag with change of clothes, toiletries, towel &amp; any medications needed.  BYO alcohol. (no glass please)</p>
